Thanks are due to those who came forward with information regarding the article about Master Visits to Scotland.

Several people helped to identify people in the photographs: Stephen Mannion (Snr); Bryan Hunter; Brian Allan and Gerald Bonner, the latter identifying Kathleen Patterson playing Botvinnik. Kathleen was a former pupil of Gerald's, who went on to marry the English internationalist Owen Hindle.

Bryan Hunter has supplied his win against Gligoric in 1964, which will be added to that page.

John Glendinning provided details of the Suetin 1968 simul from Scottish Chess Association Bulletin Nr. 25.

Thanks to other for suggestions, including Alan Grant, Ian Marks and Don Heron.

Ongoing work is being done in several areas: Master visits - several other articles including Miles (v McKay) 1984; Spassky 1987; Scottish Boys' championships from 1931; Tournaments of note, including Dundee 1867 and 1967; Glasgow Junior International 1969; Home International Team Tournament 1975; Troon 1984. And on and on and on...
