Hi,
There seems to be some people a little confused about the elegibility to enter the West of Scotland Congress - so to clarify.

This congress is open to all in Scotland, UK or other

The only restrictions in the Junior events is the eligibility to win the West of Scotland Primary Champion Trophy or the Secondary Champion Trophy. All other prizes are not restricted (apart from the Girls Championships)

CHESS SUPPLIERS will be there Sunday 3rd May only - so any orders you have place now & you can arrange collection there.

Hope to see you there in this new venue

Regards
Jacqui

A reminder to all that we are still taking entries for the West of Scotland events & Girls National Championships.

For those of you undecided I can confirm that the Busby Hotel has potential to become a favoured venue on the chess circuit. I have arranged for teas/coffee & breakfast rolls be available first thing Saturday & Sunday & main meals & snacks can be purchased downstairs in the bar & restaurant (main meals @ 2 for £10).

STOP PRESS - QUIZ with CASH PRIZES

Don't forget the QUIZ on Saturday night at 8pm - giving enough time from the end of the third round for a meal to be had before the start. All welcome young & old. £1 per head entry.

Entries for the chess to jacqui.thomas@uwclub.net or 0141 6391011
