Dundee & Angus Congress will be 17 - 19 October. Plan your holidays accordingly! Dundee and Angus have plenty for the discerning holidaymaker.

The web site www.dundee-congress.co.uk has been updated with all the new information. The prize fund is unchanged but we have had to increase entry fees by a modest £1 (otherwise unchanged since 2004).

We have also decided to drop the Primary Tournaments because the demand simply isn't there and isn't going to improve. There will be a discount and prize for Primary players in the Minor though.

Since 2004 19 players have played in every Dundee (& Angus) congress and as a thank you for that support all of those 19 who also play this year will be entered into a draw for free or discounted entry in 2009. We will contact them directly.

This year we are taking the opportunity to do some good for others by supporting Alzheimer Scotland. Entry forms will invite donations to this worthy cause and there will be a donations box at the event. This isn't going to be a charity event but Steve Mannion raised £50 last year just from change at the coffee bar - perhaps we can do even better. More information on the web site.www.dundee-congress.co.uk

Entry forms will be available at major events from Hawick onwards.
