We had some problems yesterday with the Internet training. I have been in
contact with ChessBase and now know this:

1) If you were one of those with problems with sound/moves, you need to
download the new client at HYPERLINK
"http://www.playchess.com"www.playchess.com. We had no way of knowing
this, sorry anyway.

2) If you got codes that did not work, contact me, and I can supply you
with codes that should work. ChessBase have no idea why the codes did not
work, they should have.

Stephen will be on tonight at 7PM again, but at 6.00 PM I will perform a
test run. If you want to see if your stuff works, this is the right
moment.

I cannot access the new notice board yet, but wanted to put this
information on the site. Please, the first person who read this and can do
so, please assist me in this way.

I used Playchess to watch the Kramnik-Topalov match. I could get the moves and on screen commentary but not the sound despite paying 100 ducats Shocked
Now when trying to listen to steve's coaching I get the messages : trying fritzserver.de,server timeout, trying schach.de,we apologise the chessserver is currently not reachable, please make sure your firewall has port 6002 open Question

On Mon, 2nd & Tue 3rd April Stephen Mannion will give another 2 lessons on playchess at 19.00 - they're open to all, but i think its the junior ass paying for it (not sure).
Last Mon & Tue I had no problem with sound or vision.
On Tue the lecture is closely followed by a German lecture. You don't need to know German though. The guy gives lots of visual clues...
