I have worked out what the problem is. Believe it or not it is file permissions. Webfusion is throwing a wobbly if I put pgn files on the webspace.

Getting round it by zipping the files. Give me 10 mins and it will be fixed.

Sorry if I am making our tournament "Shoddy"

Why is it that all the tournaments in the world this one should require specialised knowledge to download a PGN file? Right click this, use that browser... every other one is just click and wham CB opens. Are we elitist or what?

No we are tired volunteers who have been at it for hours doing things manually at times when the software crashes so you get to see the game.

Andy

FGSk, I posted to ask in the only place you can ask where to get the games and pointing out the PGN from TWIC is wrong - no one seemed to know this or if they did not fix it.

Anyway you have come up with a solution by zippin' the files. So well done and thanks for that, especially as you were tired and after hours of manual work and crashing software, ungrateful Glaswegians having a go and all with no pay - Pat on the back then!.... thread finished.

BTW....The zip has PGN of games from the first two rounds, no games from the third.....

Look forward to seeing the games today....

Shocked

I'm having no trouble at all downloading the games. This just worked.

Mind you I don't clog up my kit with junk like Firefox and
all these other 'must have because someone else has' gimmicks.

(...and don't think the fact you all have the same haircut has gone unoticed either).

The main download page seems to have all the rounds from the SENIORS & U-1500 but just the first 4x rounds from the Championship

http://www.sncl.org.uk/scotchamps2011/index.html

Is there a place to download all the Championship games ..?

thanks
Wm
