I think this is very black and white (much like Chess in fact). =) I can't answer because it depends on too many things. If the circumstances are right one year and decent sponsors come along then I think it's a good idea, the next year it might not be.

Of these how many are prepared to play in any title norm event CS organises? |

We probably have 3 or 4 currently trying to get a title or to upgrade. Below that there are a number of younger players who, if they got near a norm, would have the incentive to progress to the desired level. Again it is not black and white. |
