Please note that this question is a general question and does not apply exclusively to the Scottish Championship.

Could someone provide the figures for profit/loss for the years the International Open has been running?

I think this is very black and white (much like Chess in fact). =) I can't answer because it depends on too many things. If the circumstances are right one year and decent sponsors come along then I think it's a good idea, the next year it might not be.

Sad

How many Scottish players are seriously trying to obtain title norms?

Of these how many are prepared to play in any title norm event CS organises?

We probably have 3 or 4 currently trying to get a title or to upgrade. Below that there are a number of younger players who, if they got near a norm, would have the incentive to progress to the desired level. Again it is not black and white.
