Stephen,

I came across these independently about 10 days ago and have been watching them ever since... love everything about them.... Jeremy James cut glass accent, Bill Hartstons excellent punditry, the Theme music, hearing guys like Larsen, Donner and Co.

Only downside is some of the videos are a bit quiet.
I didn't expect good clarity as I knew the videos would be old and on VHS or Betamax tapes but they are surprisingly good.

You Tube search for FIDE World Cup 1982 will reveal a guy called SearchBucket who has posted games from this event in Hamburg run to similar format to Master Game. Spassky vs Karpov (in 3 parts) is excellent - Kings Gambit, Spassky Win, Time Scramble, Spassky dragging on a fag, poor girl working demo board struggling to keep up.

Great Videos

I have a PGN file of all the games from Master Game Series 1-4 if anyone wants them.

I haven't got round to doing Series 5 & 6 yet but I do intend to add them sometime.

Thanks for posting that channel Steve! I've watched a few of the videos and they are great. It's a shame we don't really have any chess tv shows like this nowadays Sad

Daniel,
Glad to help.
Count me in for your tournament in August. I intend to use your event as my preparation for the European Braille championships in Rhodes
