I'm intrigued. Are we allowed to guess?

It's too late to announce you'll be standing for the Scottish Parliament on Thursday as a member of a suitably named chess related political party. I spent ages trying to think of a witty, humurous or just sensible one and couldn't come up with anything.

It's too early to announce that Dundee will be bidding for the 2020 Olympic Games. If Venice is a potential candidate why not Dundee. Where would they have the rowing events in Venice?

Is it just about the right time to announce Anand, Carlsen and Kramnik as the first 3 entriies for the Dundee Congress in October?

Could Kasparov be coming out of retirement?

What are the rumours in Dundee? Anyone with any insider knowledge? Smile

By all means have a guess. It shows somebody's interested.

Those guesses were pretty darn good, but not quite on the spot.
Dundee is getting the V&A so why shouldn't it get the Olympics? Or an Olympiad.

MSP for the Latvian Gambit party? Would you vote for me?

No. Anyone associated with the Latvian Gambit is definitely unsound!

Surely I'm a perfect candidate for the Scottish Parliament then?
