Good luck from me, too! I see my opponent from today's last round in the Scottish Championships is in the Glorney team and that others who played in that event (gaining some really good experience and causing some of us older players to sweat much more than a little bit) are playing too. I still remember my own playing days in the Glorney Cup with fondness and I was speaking to Lord Kirkwood this afternoon, who also played in some of the earliest of these events ... have a great time! |

These results help to confirm the trend that we are getting better stength in depth at younger age groups. Good results overall so far I feel, well done to all concerned.
Robin. |

Good set of results and I would highlight the fact that the Glorney team is a young team - with 1 J17,3 J16 and 1 J14. |

Nor should they have! Grade difference has consistently proven to be a major barrier for some players, and those who are able to ignore it always get better results. Juniors are far better at it, in general, than adults - and there are some excellent examples playing for us in this event.

8 "ties" played. 6wins 1 draw 1 loss (by the narrowest of margins).
These are good results by anyone's standard. Well done ! |
