Just occurred to me that this might be a challenge to David & Stuart - I guess there is only one section?

I play in several tournaments with one section. I wish people would stop inferring I somehow avoid playing in one section events. Confused

Actually, while I haven't yet seen an entry form I know that due to space considerations there were plans to put a rating floor in place, making this one of the very few adult tournaments that lower-rated players are ineligible for! Smile

Unfortunately I have recently received an email from my contact at the venue stating that due to unforseen circumstances the venue will be closed during the weekend the tournament was organised for. Obviously, this is terribly frustrating especially since I have been planning for nearly a year now but is totally outwith my control.
I am can only apologise, especially to those that were considering playing. I will do my very best to make sure the event is rescheduled asap but it is looking like the earliest possible dates are in August.
