This is a reminder to all players entered into the EK Open this year that as tomorrow , Thurs 5th May, is Scottish Elections and The Murray Owen Centre is used as a polling station there will be NO chess at EK this week.

Andy Howie and I should have and probably did mention this to you all, in John Dykes' absence, ahead of the first pawns being pushed last Thursday evening.

Round 2 of the EK Open starts back next week, Thursday 12th May.

Enjoy your week off.

PS For any EK players reading this - there will be no chess activities at all tomorrow night at murray owen.
