Prices at Travel Inn have changed again - for the better. Best price for Fri + Sat is now £56, Sat only is £27 (£30 - 10%) at PTI Panmurefield.

Premier Travel Inn, adjacent to our venue are not offering discounts but have now reduced rates to £40 per room per night (previously £50 per night). The other Travel Inn (1 mile west of the venue, 2/3 minute drive, 10 minute walk) is offering discounts for congress participants and family/friends. Currently Fri is on offer at £29, Sat at £30 (less 10% booked direct) and Sun £29, so Fri + Sat = £56. Travelodge are also offering cheaper rooms but their nearest hotel is in Dundee City centre. Again, visit the congress website for more.

Travel Inn, Ethiebeaton have now bumped the Friday rate to £50 (still £40 for Sat).

Travel Inn Panmurefield have not changed so is clearly worth the 2 minute drive, 10 minute walk for £27 per night

Travelodge in Dundee City Centre is £29 for Fri, £42.50 Sat

These hotel prices are are changing irritatingly quickly but those I quoted were correct at 14 Aug. As it happens I checked again last night - but haven't had a chance to update this noticeboard or our website until now - and I checked again before this reply. Panmurefield (or Dundee East as it is officially known) can be had for £29 on Friday using the national promotion price and by booking through their website. There is no discount on this. Saturday is now up to £40 but with a 10% discount, but this has to be booked directly with the hotel (01382 737514), not through the website as this is a private arrangement between the hotel and ourselves. And this is definitely for October 15/16.

I know this is all a bit messy to explain and made worse by regularly changing prices, I would be happy for anyone to phone me about it if it would help - 01382 534863.

I'll keep watching the prices and posting updates.

And, BTW, Ethiebeaton is now £50 per night for both nights.
