There are errors in the caption to the photograph on page 23 of the October 2009 issue of Scottish Chess.

The photo was taken during the Scottish Championship for 1937, held in the rooms of the Glasgow CC, commencing December 31, 1936, into 1937.

A young Hugh Gemmell (referred to in the article), is standing, almost in the centre of the photograph, with a framed picture behind him.

At the tables, nearest camera, George Page (r) against Goldberg. Next to them is Miss L.M. Hogarth (r) against Miss A.M. Crum (with hat).
Standing behind the boards, from the right, are W.A. Fairhurst (with glasses) and Dr R.C. Macdonald.
The others have yet to be positively identified.
