Hi, I had copies of this on Beta Max.

I asked if anyone knew how to convert them - nobody came forward
except the reliable John Henderson who asked me to send them to him
in the USA.

I did. (fee £14.00) he said they arrived. That was January - 2009.

Since then nothing - he stopped answering my emails enquiring about
them in March 2009.

The person who lent me the tapes is disgusted with the whole episode.

Just thought I'd keep you updated as I know some of you were interested.

Also to express my disapointment in the way John Henderson has
conducted himself in this affair.

Still no news from John Henderson.

I've had to go public with this as my good name (what's left of it) is
being dragged through the mud and since JHB has refused to answer my
emails (though I still get a weekly blurb from him) my statement that
I am emailing him is not being believed.

This is only way I can prove to owner that I have not sold them and
kept money - what else can I do?

Still nothing.

I am totally baffled.

I get emails from him advertising his John Watson talks and I've
heard from people who said they will speak to him.

Nothing at all.

Can anyone anywhere throw some light on this matter.

If he has lost them, destroyed them or had them pinched then
why not tell me.

I have his email saying they arrived and I have the postage receipt
and the address.

Has anyone had a personal email within the last few months?
If so contact him and ask him what's up?

Has anybody seen him in person recently?

I'm totally confused.

I don't have the tapes, but I do have all the games and am in process of putting into a PGN file.

You can view all games from Series 1-4 at the following link

http://www.integellus.co.uk/dunfermlinechess/games/MasterGame/dgt_chesstheatre.htm

from within Chess Theatre player (I think a zip file can be downloaded from there as well)

Series 5&6 games will follow soon, then I will email the complete PGN file to whosoever wants it.
