Pleased to confirm the result from the Scotsman Scottish Schools Final between James Gillespies High & Hillhead as a very hard 3-1 victory for Gillespies. Again all the games were very tight and especially on the top two boards which were decided late on by slight inaccuracies by were taken advantage off by the more experienced Gillespies team.

I would like to thank all those that made this years event happen not least Sarinder and his excellent Hillhead team for making the trip over to Edinburgh, Stephen Taylor for organising and Bill Mac Donald at Perth Acad. for helping to arrange a venue in an earlier round.

James Gillespies Hillhead
Rhian Hughes 1 -0 Xiang Long
Jonny Scott 1-0 Zhang Mao
Shivan Murdochy 0-1 Yan Fu
Sam Gregory 1-0 Zayang Li
