I have to take my hat off to the players in the Minor this morning. The first they knew about it was when they arrived. I had planned this earlier in the week.

It is a real ambition of mine for us to own our own equipment to be able to do this. I am really looking to get the wireless setup so it is easy for me to train other people to do it. To give you an idea, we need to find about £10k. Putting this into perspective, our annual budget is about £30K. I had a lottery grant application rejected earlier this year for this.

If we do manage this, then live games will become part and parcel of the congress scene. The beauty of the wireless setup is that we can move the boards easily. They don't have to be grouped together like the wired ones we are using at the Scottish

If anyone has funding ideas to allow us to do this, I would love to hear them

How about a nice wee letter to Colin and Chris Weir of Largs? Laughing
