Well done to Andy, Jaqui, Phil & Donald (& friends!) for an enjoyable team final on Saturday.

Congratulations to Kirkhill in the All Primary section and Sciennes in the P5Under section - both were worthy winners (but we'il get you next year, maybe).

Thanks Mike, yes great to see so many children take part in the finals - we had 14 teams in the P5 & under & 17 in the All Primary. A great turnout considering these were the qualifiers from the heats.

Very tight in the Primary in the end with the top 3 teams all finishing on 8 match points & the places being decided on board points.

On a down side it wasn't much fun for the arbiters, Peter & Anne Woods & SJC board after a long day having to stay behind & help with the clean up. We were too ashamed not to as it was disgusting the way the two parent rooms were left. Mind you after Andy remaining calm all day & not getting into a sweat it was amusing seeing he couldnt hold it back whilst hoovering & had to be saved by Anne.

Last finals of the Junior calendar tomorrow Very Happy at Braehead Arena with 80 particpants taking up their qualification place from as North as Inverness & South as Dumfries. Good luck to all.
