The SNCL is about to be submitted by CS for FIDE rating.

FIDE will not accept any new entries to their database without a date of birth. Unfortunately DOB was not requested when players were added to SNCL teams this season.

So there are still a few where we dont know DOB - if no information in next few days we'll just guess and correct later.

Stewart, Graham (Giffnock)
Oswald, Gerrard (Edinburgh)
Marr, John (Edinburgh)
Jenkins, Ben J (Dundee)

Any info pls send to grading@chessscotland.com

Is the SNCL website still operational?

Still no change in the status of the SNCL website, under construction, as it has been for two years or thereabouts.

I was trying to look up the report, or even the noticeboard comments on said AGM, but as yet no result.

As I recall it, Hamilton managed to win concessions on board order, i.e. they got to choose the order of players within a range of grades. This does not appear to be reflected in the rules announced for this season.

"5.Players within a team must play in strict grading order"

This definitely does not accord with my memory of the AGM and the subsequent noticeboard discussions.

I think the new rule is: "Players within a grading difference less than or equal to max - min of (Joe Redpath, Stephen Tweedie, Pat Coffey) may play in whatever order they fancy.

Not sure if this is FIDE rating or Scottish ratings?

Re: Website, The link should be broken so nothing is showing

Re Rules, If I remember correctly it was within 50 grading points (although I may be mistaken)
