Grand Prix Leaderboards have been revised by programmer Gordon Rattray.

http://www.chessscotland.com/csinfo/gpleader.htm

As well as an improved look the boards now indicate exactly how the GP totals have been calculated.

Lothians Congress will be included in GP charts as soon as new grading upload is made.

Comments and error checking welcome.

Looks good.

One small difference is in the total of games played. Previously only the games played in Congresses where a player scored GP points was displayed, but that is not the case now. So far this season I have scored GP points in two congresses, playing 10 games. The number of games played is shown as 27. Since I have 33 graded games I can't see where the 27 comes from.

Had a proper look at the grading page.

I have played a total of 27 games in 6 tournaments, but only scored GP points in two of them. Is this an intentional change?

Andy, there is no change in the scoring method. http://www.chessscotland.com/csinfo/gpintro.htm

Click the points total on the right of the leaderboards. It breaks down your congresses into how many points in each event. You scored in 3 events. You had 7 tournaments. (The Carse of Gowrie Allegro counts)

You dont score when you score less than 50% (junior rules diff).

4. Rules To score points in the Grand Prix simply enter a chess tournament (normal time rates or allegro) and score well! Points scored at congresses and allegros will be accumulated throughout the season:

(a) Only performances of 50% or more will count. e.g. 2.5/5 or 3½/6 or 4/7

No, it was an error and it should now be fixed. Thanks for raising it.
