I know it a while away, but could I suggest that you keep your eyes open from this point on for the info that gets produced in the weeks and months ahead? This Congress will be something a bit special. Space will be at a premium and we will have to keep an eye on entries to ensure that we can cope.

Traditionally in Scottish Tournaments last minute entries are welcome, but those who miss out because of a late entry in this one will miss out on being part of quite a big deal. The public will be there, and in numbers. I would be amazed if photograhers and the press do not come along for a snoop or three. Chess-player may be your everyday thing just now, but at that Congress you will be in the spotlight and will genuinely be an ambassador for the game of chess.

I can give no more away at this early stage, but what I have now disclosed is accurate. Enter early and avoid real disappointment.

John
