This season's Grand Prix will be extended to incorporate the 2010 Scottish Championships (all sections) as the final event of the GP season.
The Championships will count as the last event of this GP season and the first GP event of 2010-2011.
GP prizes will be presented at a congress in the new season.
(The event will be graded once as the first event of the 2010-2011 season - DMB)

Grand Prix winners for 2009-2010 have been announced here http://www.chessscotland.com/csinfo/gp2010final.htm
Winners will be contacted and prize presentation will take place at the Grangmouth Congress.
Thanks to our three sponsors Chessbase, Everyman and New in Chess who have agreed to continue their support into the new 2010-2011 season.
The GP leaderboard charts were displaying incorrect information between July 9 and 19 since all half point scores had been ignored. This was connected to an issue with a new computer package - it was corrected immediately by the programmers when spotted on the 19th. |
