We have a DRAW already, I am actually quite shocked. Keti could have thrown away any chance of winning the event now.

9...Qc7 is practically a blunder in Green-Arakhamia-Grant: 10.Nd5! Oh, he just played it!

What is the method used to determine the Scottish Champion in the event of a tie? Cool

It is some convoluted formula involving pints of milk consumed at breakfast and the phase of the moon....

Title should be decided by playoff, there is no fair method of tiebreak!

The tiebreak rule is very unfair to Keti being the highest rated player.

Recently the tie-break rule was voted at the AGM and TPR was chosen.

If we take the simple scenario where players A (rated 2300) and B (rated 2200 ) play identical opponents, draw with each other, and beat the rest, player B would have the higher TPR.

If we use TPR then the result between the individual players should be excluded.

Better methods which I suggested but which were outvoted are (a) result between players (b) sonneberg-berger (c) quick-play play-off
