Just had a look at the Live Games. They're over already. We lost on Boards 2-4 BUT won on Board 1, where Craig P beat Vasiukov. Wonderful. Very well done, Craig.

Another impressive win today. Craig and Douglas - who has had a marvellous debut - are both flying high. I hope the Team keeps an eye on their chances for a Board prize. Craig is top according to points scored, while Douglas is leading the Board 4s on % ranking but not - alas - on points scored where he is trailing.

The Team has been wonderfully sprightly so far, and I'm sure all of us will be rooting for a great finish.

Good Luck!

Incredible scoring from Craig and Douglas but everyone is chipping in. Have the guys been swimming in any cocoon littered indoor swimming pools at their hotel ? Possibly a bit late for Craig to be a contender for player of the year but his performance so far would merit consideration.

Robin.

A win would be a performance above 2600 ie a GM norm.

However 1.48a: The minimum average ratings of the opponents are as follows: GM 2380, WGM 2180, IM 2230, WIM 2030. http://www.fide.com/fide/handbook.html?id=58&view=article

The average is 2300 so think that invalidates.
